Roof Restoration
Emulsion:
Roofing Emulsion is used to yield a permanently elastic waterproofing compound for cold process built-up roofing. It is designed to be used in combination with specific polyester reinforcing ply sheets to form a cold process built-up roofing system.
Benefits of using an Emulsion base roofing system:
-
Easy to apply and provides excellent substrate adhesion.
-
May be used with, coated fiberglass, or polyester ply sheets.
-
Cold process application means superior efficiency on the roof.
-
The threat of damage to the building, fire hazards and injury to personnel is significantly reduced.
Polyester Fabric:
Polyester roofing fabric is used to reinforce roof coatings in high-stress areas and other roof repair applications. Polyester can be used to reinforce roof coatings on joints, flashings, roof penetrations, roof ductwork, parapet walls, skylights, or along the seams in metal roofing.
Benefits of using Polyester Fabric:
-
High Tensile Strength.
-
Good resistance to splitting and cracking.
-
Excellent flexibility for transitions, flashings, and parapet walls.
Title 24 coating systems:
In 1978, Title 24, the Energy Efficiency Standards for Buildings section of the California Code of Regulations was passed into law. When the law was updated, effective October 1, 2005, it was adapted to regulate energy efficiency for roofs in California.
Benefits of using a Title 24 coating system:
-
Reduce cooling costs in air conditioned buildings.
-
Little or no disturbance of building occupants.
-
Greatly prolong the life of the Roofing System.
